Our Mission
There is a gap today in support for new mothers who want to breastfeed. Most of us do not have a lot of family nearby. And when we do, we are often the first to breastfeed in recent generations.
On top of that, the way our healthcare system is set up, we don't see a doctor for ourselves again until six weeks after giving birth.
The mission of Adylaed is to fill the current gap in support for new moms who want to breastfeed.
Moral support. Personal experience. Solid information. And the physical products you need - all in one place.
But breastfeeding is just the beginning. If you want to keep that sense of independence and connection with nature, and you're feeling a little anxious about mainstream parenting pressures that seem to pull us away from that, you've come to the right place. Our culture today doesn't make parenting any easier, does it? But we can team up and raise our kids the way we want if we do it together.
Mamas to mamas, we're here for you.
- Jessica Tomolonis, Founder
P.S.
"Adelaide" comes from the Germanic word, Adalheidis, which means "of noble birth."
Every birth is noble, isn't it?
